Since MD Clinic began its mission of providing health and cosmetic care specialized in ophthalmology,
family medicine, dermatology and laser in Kuwait, it has been at the forefront of medical research and the
latest developments in medicine and surgery. The clinic’s journey began in 2022; since then, the medical

About the Founder Dr. Muhammad Al-Daflij
Dr. Muhammad Al-Daflij is known for his remarkable devotion and dedication to his work, and his
extensive experience and knowledge in the field of ophthalmology. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree
in Medicine from Kuwait University before specializing in ophthalmology in the Kuwaiti Board. In 2015,
Dr. Al-Daflij completed his specialization studies and obtained his Doctorate’s degree in “Ophthalmology,
Blepharoplasty, and Eye Socket Reconstruction” from King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital in
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, under the supervision of consultants specialized in the field from Johns Hopkins
University and Hospital. He completed several training courses and programs in the United States of
America, the United Kingdom, and Kuwait. This experience enhanced the efficiency and expertise of
the doctor during his practical training period.
